In June 2024, as part of the RID project contract No. RID/SP/0050/2024/1 entitled Centres of Excellence in Science and Technology at the University of Zielona Góra’, a six-axis collaborative robot with high resolution inspection cameras on the robot’s arm was purchased.
The collaborative robot we have purchased enables us to work with humans based on EN ISO 13849-1, with force/momentum sensors with an accuracy of 4.0 N. A set of 3 video cameras with connection elements and fasteners will allow the monitoring of an area where robots and humans work together, it is planned to use 3 cameras working simultaneously. Each of them will be placed on one of the XYZ axes, allowing the movement of objects in 3D space to be monitored. The cameras which can be used must be capable of optically and precisely adjusting the degree of zoom, introducing possible minor geometric distortions.
The investment was carried out as part of Task 2: Centre for Sustainable Human-Machine Interaction in Eco-Innovative Manufacturing.
